Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years supervisory experience in food service
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work irregular hours under pressure
- Mobility and flexibility within the workspace
- Ability to complete University of Perkins training
- Maintenance of ServSafe certification
Job Qualifications
- One to two years previous experience in a supervisory role preferably in food service industry
- High school diploma with some college or degree preferred
- Effective communication skills with employees, guests and vendors
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Successful completion of University of Perkins coursework
- Maintenance of ServSafe certification
Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower
- Responsible for achieving plan profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
- Accountable for proper handling of cash, credit card information, gift cards and all related payment processes
- Assist in planning and analysis of restaurant manpower, ensuring employee development and training
- Assist General Manager in recruitment, training, and new hire orientation
- Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework successfully
- Achieve and maintain ServSafe certification
- Perform and assist in all functions and positions in the restaurant
- Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean and sanitary manner
- Monitor food temperatures to reduce risk of food-borne illness
- Ensure compliance to productivity and service standards through proper staffing
- Manage facility and equipment through preventive maintenance and safety adherence
- Maintain inventory levels for food and non-food items according to company guidelines
- Identify and correct system breakdowns to achieve guest satisfaction
- Accountable for accurate financial data including payroll, food costs and operating expenses
- Attend and participate in restaurant and regional team meetings
