Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Must obtain Serve Safe certification
  • May be required to obtain RAMP certification for Beer/Wine locations
  • Required to obtain occupational license or permit issued by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board for VGT locations
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle required
  • Ability to use PC, mobile device, or other electronics
  • Must talk, hear, read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to perform duties at multiple workstations
  • Ability to complete housekeeping functions
  • Ability to be punctual
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Serve Safe certification required
  • RAMP certification may be required for Beer/Wine locations
  • Occupational license or permit required for VGT locations as issued by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months employment with Rutter's preferred
  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred
  • Prior management or leadership experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensure self and all employees provide professional, courteous, and timely service to all customers
  • Perform duties at multiple workstations including food prep, make table, expediter
  • Complete all store housekeeping functions such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and emptying trash
  • Set inventory levels and order appropriately following company guidelines
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of goods following company guidelines
  • Schedule employees based on peak demand times
  • Train employees in food preparation, sanitation rules, and regulations
  • Share responsibility for shift coverage for call-offs when no other help can be found
  • Ensure company recipes and quantities are adhered to using Price book guidelines
  • Ensure all company food safety guidelines, rules, and procedures are followed
  • Complete customer transactions accurately and ensure compliance with age-restricted product regulations such as alcohol
  • Identify and resolve inventory control problems
  • Schedule work hours to optimize operation and control labor costs
  • Complete and submit forms for profit and loss statements timely
  • Manage personnel-related documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve service, reduce costs, and increase sales
  • Use a team-based approach to problem-solving and personnel issues
  • Demonstrate high standards and work ethics
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Stock and maintain store inventory levels
  • Work in various weather conditions
  • Develop co-workers for promotion
  • Complete daily store errands
  • Comply with all company policies
  • Act as Person in Charge in absence of the manager
