Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant or food service management
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job
  • Legal age to serve alcohol
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurant management or similar role

  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to manage costs and budgets effectively

Job Duties

  • Manage all front of house and kitchen activities
  • Focus on the food including quality standards, recipe adherence and portion control
  • Optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability
  • Lead and develop Smashburger team by recruiting, training and communicating with team members
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, state health and sanitation standards
  • Maintain merchandising and display standards and monitor inventory levels
  • Handle office management tasks such as funds, media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, scheduling and payroll
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting through sales analysis
  • Address routine issues and escalate complex problems
  • Handle the responsible service of alcohol
