Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 1 year experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- ability to work full time
- eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 1 year experience in food and beverage or related professional area

Job Duties
- Handle employee questions and concerns
- monitor employees to ensure performance expectations are met
- provide feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors
- assist in supervising daily shift operations
- supervise restaurant and related areas in absence of Director or Restaurant Manager
- participate in department meetings communicating departmental goals
- ensure all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms
- communicate to Chef and Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality and service
- assist in ensuring compliance with restaurant policies, standards and procedures
- monitor alcohol beverage service compliance with local laws
- assist in achieving or exceeding budgeted goals
- perform duties of restaurant employees as necessary
- open and close restaurant shifts
- interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
- supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational and financial objectives
- encourage employees to provide excellent customer service
- handle guest problems and complaints seeking assistance as necessary
- strive to improve service performance
- set a positive example for guest relations
- assist in review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees
- meet and greet guests
- supervise on-going training initiatives
- use on the job training tools for employees
- communicate performance expectations according to job descriptions
- coach and counsel employees regarding performance
