Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED or 2-year degree from an accredited institution
- minimum 2 years of relevant hospitality experience
- or 3 years experience in two hospitality disciplines if no formal education
- ability to work full time
- strong leadership and communication skills
- knowledge of OSHA regulations
- problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
- capability to manage multiple departments and operational areas
- proficiency in financial reporting and budget management
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- or 3 years of experience in two hospitality areas if no formal education
- experience running a shift, scheduling, performance management, and problem solving preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- knowledge of OSHA regulations
- ability to lead and motivate teams
- understanding of financial management including budgets and payroll
- familiarity with beverage and food handling standards
- experience in customer service and guest relations
Job Duties
- lead daily front desk, housekeeping, or guest services shift operations
- supervise inspection program for guestrooms and public spaces
- coordinate labor scheduling and lead shifts across departments
- direct guest arrival and departure procedures
- support operational needs of food and beverage outlets
- lead setup and execution of meetings and events
- conduct guest room inspections and provide feedback to employees
- hold event operations teams accountable to standards
- complete daily and cumulative financial performance reporting
- participate in management of departmental controllable expenses
- maintain compliance with brand standards and legal requirements
- communicate performance expectations and train staff
- schedule and supervise employees to meet business demands
- manage inventory and order necessary supplies
- resolve guest complaints and ensure high level of customer service
- assist in interviewing, hiring and performance appraisals
- conduct daily stand-up and pre-shift meetings
- enforce OSHA and safety regulations
- work closely with engineering on maintenance needs
