Job Requirements

  • at least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience
  • 2 years catering and event experience
  • 1 year room service experience
  • ability to work long hours as required
  • medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • coordinate and supervise all aspects of one food and beverage outlet's operations
  • maintain a profitable food and beverage outlet with high quality products and service levels
  • market ideas to promote business growth
  • reduce employee turnover
  • manage revenue and payroll budgets
  • meet budgeted productivity goals
  • maintain compliance with highgate hotel standards and regulations
  • participate in management on duty coverage
  • attend all required meetings and training sessions
  • approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
  • identify and implement solutions to productivity and operational challenges
  • maintain confidentiality of information
  • perform additional duties as requested by management
  • maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
