Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to work various shifts including days, evenings and weekends
  • flexible and self-driven
  • able to manage multiple priorities
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to analyze problems and create plans
  • able to work both independently and with a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • some college preferred
  • 3 or more years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • new restaurant opening experience preferred
  • valid driver's license
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • strong analytical skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Duties

  • Hire and terminate hourly non-management crewmembers
  • own the onboarding, status change and payroll process for all hourly crewmembers
  • create crewmember work and training schedules
  • manage the performance of hourly crewmembers including development, coaching, redirective communication and documentation
  • act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant
  • manage cash handling and ensure accountability
  • enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
  • execute shift management meeting Raising Cane's operations and safety standards
  • use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action
  • deploy crewmembers during shifts
  • provide exemplary customer service
  • utilize reward and recognition program for crewmembers
  • authorize employee functions requiring manager approval such as discounts, promotions and timeclock overrides
  • ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and maintain the facility
  • complete other duties as assigned
