Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • college degree in Hospitality or Business Administration and 2+ years related experience or comparable combination of education and experience
  • minimum 1-year management, supervisory or leadership experience
  • excellent customer service skills and positive interaction with diverse individuals
  • ability to prioritize tasks and adapt with minimal guidance
  • excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Point of Service software, rentals reservations software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to learn time and attendance scheduling systems
  • TAM or equivalent Alcohol Service certification or ability to obtain within 4 weeks
  • Michigan Chauffeurs license or ability to obtain within 4 weeks
  • ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • must be 18 years or older

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • college degree in Hospitality or Business Administration preferred
  • minimum 2 years related experience or comparable combination of education and experience
  • at least 1 year management or supervisory experience
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Point of Service and rental reservations software
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to obtain TAM or equivalent Alcohol Service certification
  • Michigan Chauffeurs license or ability to obtain it
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the Rentals department
  • assist in training and scheduling seasonal staff
  • manage bar operations including liquor inventory control
  • coordinate logistics for various events including weddings and corporate gatherings
  • provide coaching and feedback to team members
  • support financial data analysis and event planning
  • develop new rental opportunities and research competitive products
