Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDL license required
  • Weekend availability
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience driving a Hi Lo
  • Basic understanding of Birch Street
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle emergencies
  • Physical ability to move up to 50 pounds and items up to 200 pounds with accommodations
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance and crouch
  • Ability to wear required protective equipment
  • Visual acuity corrected
  • Ability to distinguish color

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDL license
  • Food and beverage background preferred
  • Previous warehouse or inventory management experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience driving a Hi Lo forklift
  • Basic understanding of Birch Street
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work
  • Strong initiative and judgment
  • Team-oriented and positive attitude
  • Ability to handle emergencies responsibly
  • Knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures
  • Ability to maintain clean and organized work areas

Job Duties

  • Act as loading dock manager for hotel
  • Responsible for food purchases, non-food orders, and other special or high value purchases
  • Maintain order guides and par levels
  • Follow up with vendor for back orders, substitutes and issues
  • Ensure purchases are within budget
  • Support Purchasing and Receiving Manager and supervise hourly staff
  • Monitor receiving, storing and distribution of products
  • Lead month-end inventory count process
  • Represent department in meetings
  • Manage Birch Street functions
  • Oversee purchasing and receiving at multiple properties
  • Assist in monitoring receiving clerks
  • Maintain guest and outgoing package logs
  • Make store runs for F&B teams
  • Act as main contact for operations departments
  • Liaison between vendors and operations
  • Supervise company vehicle usage
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management
