Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years culinary baking experience
- Experience in high-volume food service preferred
- Ability to work extended shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to work in fluctuating temperatures and perform physical tasks
- Proficiency in computer software including MS Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Must adhere to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of culinary baking experience
- Previous experience in high volume, complex food service operations
- Knowledge of baking, pastry, and chocolate work with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
- Ability to complete projects reliably and on time
- Keyboarding and computer proficiency including MS Office
- Experience with workforce management and inventory software preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and prioritize in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication with management, guests, and team members
- Superior internal and external customer service experience
- Ability to work extended shifts and flexible schedule
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures

Job Duties
- Partner with the Dickies Arena Food and Beverage department leadership team to ensure successful arena F&B operation
- Assist with the establishment and enforcement of Dickies Arena policies
- Work closely with team members and other departments for procedure consistency and communication
- Support concept development and operating plan establishment for dessert and pastry needs
- Drive unique and signature dessert menu and recipe development
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising bakery team members
- Ensure bakery team has necessary tools and consistent recipe execution
- Manage pastry kitchen operations in collaboration with other chefs
- Decorate and present pastries attractively
- Monitor and order ingredients and supplies
- Meet customers for custom dessert discussions
- Ensure bakery adheres to health and safety regulations
- Monitor and manage inventory and par levels
- Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and production
- Enforce safe service of alcoholic beverages
- Engage with guests and team to ensure hospitality
- Build and maintain strong relationships within venue
- Enforce safety, security, and sanitation standards
- Gather and use guest feedback for improvements
- Utilize purchasing and workforce management systems
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership team
