Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Availability for early morning and daytime shifts
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Compliance with food handler and sanitation standards
  • Previous baking or pastry experience preferred
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing kitchen demands

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year large-scale baking or pastry experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Passion for baking and creating high-quality pastries
  • Formal baking or pastry education is a bonus but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins following recipes
  • Decorate pastries with attention to detail and creativity
  • Lift and handle large quantities of dough and baking supplies weighing 50 pounds or more
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
  • Comply with local, state, and federal food handling and sanitation regulations
  • Adapt to changes in the kitchen environment and work effectively under pressure
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and quality
