Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a pastry or culinary role
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods
  • US citizen or permanent resident status
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in a bakery or pastry environment
  • Knowledge of farm to table principles and local produce
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge
  • Availability Monday through Saturday including mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Job Duties

  • Following recipes and keeping consistency with our dishes
  • Completing prep lists
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of all the ingredients and components of the dishes on our menu
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Maintaining a hyper clean working environment based on health department standards
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and presentation of pastries
  • Assisting in the sourcing and learning about local produce
