Job Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience preferred
  • Graduate of culinary school or apprenticeship program
  • Able to certify as Pastry Culinarian and Working Pastry Chef in 2 years
  • Basic skills in cake decorating and chocolate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Motivated to exceed member expectations
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and anticipate needs
  • Great attention to detail
  • Creative and resourceful
  • Consistent and confident in delivering superior experiences

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of culinary school or apprenticeship program
  • Skilled in classic and modern cake decorating techniques
  • Knowledge of current pastry trends
  • Experience with recipe documentation and template maintenance
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Creative and resourceful with great attention to detail
  • Prior restaurant experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Supporting production across all pastry stations including breads, banquet desserts, and pastry carts
  • Ensuring consistency in quality, presentation, and taste
  • Contributing to the development and execution of daily pastry specials and seasonal menu offerings
  • Assisting with training new pastry team members and stewards in recipes and kitchen procedures
  • Coordinating with banquet operations to fulfill daily dessert and bread requirements including setup according to banquet event orders
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Executive Pastry Chef or Executive Chef
