Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen preferred but not required
  • basic knowledge of baking techniques
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • enthusiasm for producing high-quality pastry products
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • assist the Pastry Chef in scratch baking
  • cross-train in other kitchen areas
  • prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
  • follow recipes and production schedules
  • ensure high quality and consistency of pastry products
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
