Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of previous pastry experience
  • Knowledge of baking and pastry
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
  • Passion for exceptional pastry and baking experiences
  • Trustworthy and has integrity
  • Luxury hotel experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage inventory and control of all pastry equipment and tools
  • Prepare and order all items for menus and create inventory systems
  • Support creation of weekly schedules and manage payroll for pastry associates
  • Monitor and support execution and delivery of resort amenity programs
  • Attend BEO meetings and communicate information to the pastry department in absence of Executive Pastry Chef
  • Oversee pastry production flow and adjust to meet cost and quality controls
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products according to health regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of kitchen equipment
  • Enforce safety and sanitation policies
  • Create memorable and exceptional pastry experiences
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
