Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years pastry experience
- knowledge of baking and pastry
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- luxury hotel experience is a plus
- strong leadership capabilities
- passion for pastry arts
- ability to manage inventory and production flow
- compliance with health and safety regulations
- effective communication skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull equipment up to 200 pounds

Job Duties
- Manage inventory and control of all equipment and tools required for events and restaurants in conjunction with Executive Pastry Chef
- prepare and order items for all menus, create order sheets and inventory systems to ensure proper stock levels
- support creation of a weekly schedule and manage payroll for all Pastry Associates
- monitor execution and delivery of the resort's amenity program
- attend BEO meetings and communicate information to the Pastry department in absence of Executive Pastry Chef
- oversee pastry production flow and adjust to adhere to cost and quality control procedures
- ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products complying with Health Department regulations
- check cleanliness and working condition of kitchen equipment, review cleanliness practices with Culinary and Stewarding teams and maintain daily cleaning schedules
- ensure department compliance with all safety and sanitation policies
- create memorable WOW moments for guests
- perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
