Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a scratch pastry or bakery environment
- Strong foundational knowledge of pastry techniques, production methods, and baking science
- Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow detailed recipes, scaling instructions, and plating guidelines
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
- Completion of pre-employment drug test and background check
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain high food-safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing, producing, and baking all pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty items from scratch
- Maintain consistency, flavor profiles, and presentation standards for all pastry and dessert offerings
- Prepare breakfast pastries such as Danishes, muffins, scones, croissants, and other morning bakery items
- Organize mise en place, plan production timelines, and manage prep lists to meet service demands
- Decorate and finish cakes, tarts, cookies, plated desserts, and special-order items with accuracy and creativity
- Assist with menu development, seasonal recipe testing, and new product innovation
- Monitor ingredient inventory, assist with ordering, and follow proper rotation to minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with food-safety, sanitation, and allergen-control standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area throughout each shift
- Perform additional duties that align with the overall scope of the role and contribute to departmental success
