Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work morning and daytime shifts
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds or more and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work early morning hours consistently
  • Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Passion for creating high-quality baked goods
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of large-scale baking or pastry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and maintain consistency in pastry quality
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to decorate pastries creatively
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Formal baking or pastry education is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins according to Kneaders recipe standards
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Lift and handle large quantities of dough, flour, and other baking supplies weighing 50 pounds or more
  • Decorate pastries and baked goods with attention to detail and presentation
  • Work early morning shifts consistently and maintain flexibility in the kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the bakery team to maintain high-quality standards and manage inventory
  • Adapt to changes and challenges in the baking process while keeping production on schedule
