Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- experience with event changeovers
- knowledge of supervisory principles
- previous ice maintenance experience preferred
- forklift driving experience preferred
- knowledge of boilers, chillers, refrigeration, and ice making helpful
- physical ability to climb stairs and lift 50 lbs unaided
- availability for flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended consecutive days
Job Qualifications

- experience with event changeovers and general operations department functions
- knowledge of supervisory principles, especially working with and training casual staff
- previous ice maintenance experience is highly desirable
- forklift driving experience is highly desirable
- knowledge of boilers, chillers, refrigeration, and ice making helpful
- ability to climb stairs and lift 50 lbs unaided
- flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended consecutive days
Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, supervise, and perform event changeovers
- assist and recommend hiring, perform training, scheduling, and supervision of changeover staff
- perform rink maintenance as assigned
- oversee ice installation and maintenance of ice and its equipment
- coordinate event logistics as assigned
- supervise operations staff for non-event tasks as assigned
- maintain and clean changeover equipment and areas
- assist Director of Operations, Operations Manager, Event Manager with projects as requested
- adhere to all venue management policies and procedures
- ensure staff complies with Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements
- communicate assigned task status with Operations Manager or Director of Operations
- assist Event Manager with all facets of event coordination
- assist Operations Manager and Electrician with all aspects of audio/video programming and development
- perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
