Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage management
  • Proven leadership experience in a hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of Department of Health regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective problem-solving abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant or hotel food and beverage operations management
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with banquet events and catering services
  • Ability to manage payroll, budgets, and vendor relations
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Flexibility to support other hotel departments when needed

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day operations in kitchen, outlets, and banquet divisions
  • Oversee kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, and sanitation for outlets, banquets, and colleague dining
  • Support successful execution of banquet functions, special events, and related food and beverage operations
  • Maintain and enhance hotel amenity and experience programs to align with the JDV brand experiences
  • Assist with hiring, training, and developing Culinary, Stewarding, and Food & Beverage colleagues
  • Manage payroll, reporting, inventory, and budget performance, as well as vendor relationships
  • Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Events, to ensure extraordinary guest service
  • Promote an environment that supports both guest satisfaction and colleague engagement
  • Resolve guest complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
  • Maintain Hyatt brand standards and service quality
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes
  • Occasionally cover breaks and provide support to the Front Desk team
