Job Requirements
- bs/ba degree in business administration or related work experience
- 5+ years experience in tradeshow convention production, hospitality or large event planning
- proficiency in microsoft office
- excellent communication, organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task
- strong customer-service orientation
- prior knowledge of publishing, trade shows or marketing
- contract negotiations and implementation experience
- experience with hotel or banquet sales or facilities management and planning

Job Duties
- research potential show sites
- prepare site and facility proposals and make recommendations
- negotiate contracts for onsite contractors, hotel room rates, catering, etc.
- communicate regularly with all contractors including venue staff and service managers
- coordinate exhibitor needs with sales staff and create floor plans
- coordinate production and posting of signage and maintain operations contact with exhibitors
- work with registration to coordinate exhibitor and attendee registration
- maintain communication with exhibitors to resolve problems
- manage on-site functions at assigned events including exhibit halls and meeting rooms
- hire, train, supervise and evaluate operations staff
- perform additional duties as assigned
