Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
- Two years experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- Or at least three years of experience in two of the following areas: food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- Ability to lead and manage multiple departments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts
- Availability to work full time
- Willingness to work in Arlington, Virginia
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
- Two years experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- Experience running a shift, scheduling, performance management, problem solving, and day-to-day operation management preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Ability to handle guest problems and complaints effectively
Job Duties
- Lead daily front desk, housekeeping, or guest services shift operations
- Assist in supervising guestrooms and public space inspection programs
- Attend pertinent operational and departmental meetings
- Supervise daily shift compliance with housekeeping policies
- Support all front office areas during manager absences
- Open and close restaurant, bar, or food and beverage outlet shifts
- Ensure meeting and event rooms are set according to event documentation and customer requirements
