Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel management or related field

Job Duties

  • Welcome and register hotel guests providing exceptional service
  • Oversee guest services department providing training and development to all staff
  • Act as manager on duty during absence of general management
  • Respond professionally to guest requests and complaints
  • Communicate openly with the general manager supporting property goals
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor
  • Handle multi-tasking and problem-solving effectively
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and paperwork
  • Review profit and loss statements and ledgers
  • Code and submit accounts payable for approval
  • Monitor group reservations and occupancy forecasts
  • Participate and conduct staff meetings and training sessions
  • Oversee meeting room scheduling setting up and billing
  • Train and motivate staff in all property areas
  • Schedule and supervise employees approving payroll
  • Monitor guest satisfaction making corrections as needed
  • Complete monthly inventory and make order recommendations
  • Coordinate with other departments on room status and repairs
  • Use persuasive selling techniques for rooms and marketing
  • Oversee front desk operations including guest transactions
  • Manage key control and lost and found items
  • Train staff on property management systems and office software
  • Ensure compliance with safety security and health regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
