Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2 years of related experience
- Ability to work varied days and times including weekends
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Commitment to customer service excellence
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Experience in food service management
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
Job Duties
- Assist in directing the daily operations of college residential dining facilities
- Assist in supervising activities of assigned staff including student and full-time employees
- Assist in administering systems for inventorying, purchasing, pricing, producing, displaying, merchandising, marketing, advertising, promoting, and selling products
- Assist in ensuring fast, high-quality, safe, and cost-efficient food production and service
- Assist in meeting the department’s customer service objectives by analyzing unit operations
- Assist in the strategic planning process and development of departmental policies, procedures, standards, goals, and budgets
- Assist in developing new, creative recipes and menus to improve food quality, presentation, creativity, and value
