Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certification is required
- Professional level of knowledge in guest services equivalent to completion of an Associate’s degree or directly related work experience
- Three years of progressively responsible positions in hotel front desk management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Professional knowledge in guest services equivalent to completion of an Associate's degree
- Three years of progressively responsible positions in hotel front desk management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment
- Proficiency in computer business applications including reservation systems, Excel and Word
- Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments, management, and staff
- Ability to support company policies, procedures and guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- Assists in managing guest service staff and activities to meet guests' satisfaction
- Supervises Guest Service activities including communication, luggage conveyance, sales, and guest satisfaction
- Supports and manages employees with responsibilities at the Airport, Hospitality locations, third party hotels, and luggage mobility and storage
- Applies knowledge of company products, policies and procedures and customer service
- Monitors and tracks Over the Counter sales
- recommends strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- implements approved plans
- Processes financial transactions and reports for Over-the-Counter Sales
- Processes purchase orders with Company defined guidelines and policies
- Performs Manager on Duty responsibilities
- Participates in guest services interviewing, selection,and training
- Responsible for the supervision, performance management, salary administration, and coaching of directly assigned personnel
