Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- completion of Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certification
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
- proven analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills
- self-starter with initiative
- working knowledge of personal computers and software applications
- must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of shift
- ability to move freely around the restaurant
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- minimum 3 years Assistant Manager experience with P&L responsibility for external recruits
- must be 100% certified in all workstations
- must be ServSafe certified
- strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- ability to perform basic math
- working knowledge of computers and software
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- commitment to employee development.
Job Duties
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
- monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- ensures training systems on workstations are implemented and followed
- identifies and develops internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
- works with restaurant team to execute Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise
- creates a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- motivates employees and recognizes performance appropriately
- complies with state and federal labor laws and regulations
- manages daily activities for operational excellence
- ensures guest satisfaction and consistency in food quality and service
- maintains restaurant cleanliness and maintenance
- responds to guest complaints professionally
- analyzes operational and financial performance data
- develops action plans for sales and profitability improvement
- monitors costs and adheres to budgets and goals
- manages conflict and promotes company culture with integrity and respect
- trains and coaches employees fostering promotion and development
- provides performance feedback and recognition
- serves as a role model for guest focus, food quality, safety, and business management
- adjusts to multiple demands and shifting priorities
- delegates and follows up systematically
- performs other related duties as assigned.
