Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- must be ServSafe certified
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- 1-3 years experience in related positions
- ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- excellent interpersonal skills
- basic math skills
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
- good organizational skills
- ability to work under pressure
- willingness to accept responsibility
- ability to drive personal vehicle for business purposes
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- minimum 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility for external candidates
- 100% certification in all workstations
- must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- basic math skills
- proven analytical skills

- working knowledge of personal computers and software

Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- ensure systems for training employees on workstations are implemented
- identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
- work with team to execute Service Profit Chain and create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe environment
- motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- recognize and reward employees appropriately
- comply with labor laws and regulations
- manage daily activities to achieve operational excellence
- ensure guests receive exceptional experience by training employees and holding team accountable
- monitor adherence to systems, procedures, and food safety
- review and improve guest experience
- maintain visibility and interaction with guests
- respond to guest concerns professionally
- maintain positive brand image by ensuring consistent food quality, guest service, and cleanliness
- partner with Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance
- develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
- monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals
- promote company culture with integrity, honesty, and trust
- manage conflict effectively
- serve as role model who motivates and inspires employees
- provide quality and timely performance feedback
- focus on providing high quality guest experience
