Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
  • 1 year experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
  • Ability to manage multiple departments
  • Knowledge of night audit procedures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Flexibility to work various shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 1 year experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
  • Experience in managing or supervising room operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and employee concerns effectively

Job Duties

  • Opens and closes Front Desk and Housekeeping shifts ensuring completion of checklists and duties
  • Runs and reviews critical information contained in room operations reports
  • Understands functions of Recreation, Laundry, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, AYS, Front Desk and Concierge/Guest Services operations
  • Operates department equipment and reports malfunctions
  • Ensures employees have proper supplies and uniforms
  • Understands night audit procedures and utilizes reports as necessary
  • Complies with loss prevention policies and communicates performance expectations to employees
