Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 6 months clerical or related office experience
  • ability to type at least 40 wpm
  • computer literacy with word processing and spreadsheet software
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • strong organizational skills
  • knowledge of housing program regulations preferred
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • occasional travel during the workday
  • sensitivity to diverse populations
  • adherence to equal employment and housing opportunity laws

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Orders office supplies
  • schedules maintenance repairs and follows up on work orders
  • assists in resident move-in and move-out procedures
  • maintains wait list and processes applications
  • collects rent and performs bank deposits
  • answers telephone and handles office interactions
  • prepares recertifications and submits for approval
  • maintains accurate resident records
  • refers applicants to alternative housing
  • ensures application of project and program regulations
  • prepares Project Status Reports
  • maintains a clean, organized office
  • promotes harmonious relations among residents and staff
  • maintains professionalism and company loyalty
  • participates actively in company culture of inclusivity
