Job Requirements

  • To assist the General Manager in operating the restaurant to achieve corporate profit objectives
  • Provide guest satisfaction
  • Help provide a friendly and enthusiastic work environment for all team members
  • Assists in creating an environment and culture that is fun, productive, and respectful
  • Assists the General Manager in the daily operation of the restaurant and works at any station when necessary
  • As the Manager on Duty, ensures the highest level of hospitality and service is provided to guests
  • Ensures compliance with food standards, quality, preparation, and production
  • Ensures compliance with guest relations, labor costs, paper costs, safety, and sanitation
  • Prepares and maintains personnel records, schedules, and financial reports
  • Ensures company operational procedures for dining room, service area, and kitchen are followed
  • Ensures all specials, promotions, and marketing plans are presented according to company expectations
  • Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations
  • Makes decisions on team member position assignments
  • Makes purchases according to inventory levels and budgets
  • Takes disciplinary actions as needed
  • Escalates disciplinary issues to Manager and General Manager
  • Effectively executes shift operations
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of restaurant or retail leadership experience
  • A great attitude and team energy
  • Day and night availability
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards
  • Experience in managing staffing, inventory, and team performance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
