Job Qualifications
- Three years supervisory experience in a variety of recreational activities with preference at a beach recreational facility
- Experience with Rec Trac recreation management software or RMS property management system preferred
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, officials, and others
- Knowledge of NAF policies and procedures preferred
- Capability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and heavier objects with assistance
Job Duties
- Assist the Manager in supervision and administration of the beach complex recreational activity
- Plan and implement program phases and projects
- Handle problems and deviations per established procedures
- Assist in program planning, staff training, and administrative duties
- Manage budgets, expenses, and monitor sales and profits
- Train new employees and instruct proper procedures
- Supervise employees including assigning work, coaching, counseling, mentoring, approving leave, and completing personnel actions
- Complete performance reviews and sign timecards
- Support the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment
- Ensure compliance with fire, safety, security, sanitation, and environmental standards
- Assist in organizing special events
- Handle cash responsibly and prepare daily deposits
- Troubleshoot discrepancies from previous shifts
- Provide world-class customer service with courtesy and positive communication
- Acknowledge and assist customers
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Monitor safety regulations and standards
- Know and act on emergency plans and notify management
- Report workplace hazards, injuries, or property damage promptly
- Perform other duties as assigned
