Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with schedule flexibility during academic breaks and university events
  • Effective communication and supervisory skills
  • Commitment to university values

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of food service production and service techniques and standards
  • Knowledge of food sanitation and safety standards and protocols
  • Knowledge of POS systems operation and management
  • Skill in time management, organization, and multitasking in high volume environments
  • Skill in identifying and resolving complex problems
  • Ability to plan, delegate, train, and coach staff

Job Duties

  • Manages the preparation, assembly, and service of food and dining options in a professional manner
  • Assists with steaming, frying, reheating, and garnishing food displays as needed
  • Ensures food service stations are set up, stocked, and maintained
  • Oversees sanitation of food service preparation facilities and equipment compliance with standards
  • Inspects equipment to ensure proper working condition
  • Supervises dining operations to maintain quality customer service
  • Leads by example when greeting and welcoming diners
  • Promotes a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Adheres to university values in interactions
  • Manages food and beverage sales
  • Ensures cash management and compliance with POS system procedures
  • Collaborates with team members to manage inventory, order supplies, and manage budgets and revenue
  • Trains and coaches team members
  • Encourages staff to maintain positive attitudes and quality service
  • Performs other duties as assigned
