Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in food services with leadership
  • Food Safety (ServSafe) certification obtained within 180 days from date of hire
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and events
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of work experience in food services with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Food Safety (ServSafe) certification within 180 days of hire
  • Friendly and service-oriented
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Knowledge of professional cooking principles
  • Ability to respond to food inquiries or complaints
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrates leadership skills preferred
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist with management and administration of IMU Dining and Catering operations
  • Schedule and supervise employees
  • Oversee preparation and service of meals
  • Manage menus, orders, and oversee receiving process
  • Collaborate on budget preparation, inventory control, and financial reporting
  • Rotate promotions and assist with brand management
  • Assume General Manager duties in their absence
