Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • Serv Safe Certification
  • minimum one year of food service management experience
  • three additional years of food service experience or one additional year of management experience may substitute for the degree
  • ability to work in New Orleans, Louisiana
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience

  • at least one year of food service management experience
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage budgets effectively
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • experience in staff supervision
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Manage a staff of fourteen employees daily
  • oversee food preparation for two cafes and a coffee kiosk
  • manage the annual operating budget of $1.2 million for dining services
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • coordinate catering services
  • maintain high-quality customer service standards
  • collaborate with campus leadership on dining program initiatives
