Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Valid food manager’s sanitation license
- Ability to travel between Wheeling, Chicago, and Lisle campuses
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in POS systems
- Availability to work a 37.5-hour week
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- High school diploma or GED plus about 5 years of experience required
- Prior experience in event management or office administration is a plus
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple campuses
Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow for The Grind and the Store, providing excellent customer service, resolving complaints and answering questions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a food manager’s sanitation license
- Hire, train and schedule student workers
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
- Manage POS system and daily accounting procedures
- Oversee operations at multiple Illinois campuses, including Wheeling, Chicago, and Lisle
- Coordinate logistics for events including venue setup, breakdown, catering, and handle on-site event management
