Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years of age
  • 2-4 years management or supervisory experience in a high volume food and beverage environment
  • intermediate or better computer skills
  • exceptional communication skills guest service and team building abilities
  • state food handlers permit serve safe certified
  • must be available holidays and weekends
  • ability to attend work in winter weather environment

  • intermediate or better computer skills with working knowledge of Word Excel and Outlook
  • exceptional communication skills guest service and team building abilities

Job Duties

  • work with manager to ensure the restaurant operates at all times with a high level of service and product quality
  • coordinate efforts of all FOH food and beverage employees assuring adequate staffing training and supervision
  • assure completion of all necessary paperwork as needed on a daily basis including facility check list safety plans and daily payroll accuracy
  • embrace the search for innovation and change and implement these changes to exceed guest expectations and company goals
  • maximize profitability and have an understanding of labor and cost of sales reporting and management
  • ensure overall lodge restaurant and location cleanliness including snow removal
  • inspect quality of food product received and served
  • maintain adequate inventory levels of all assigned products according to business levels and lead month end inventory processes
  • hold staff accountable to Vail Resorts policies procedures and performance standards
  • maintain a safe environment and keep location compliant with all health and safety requirements while creating and maintaining a culture of safety at all times
  • assist other departments as needed throughout the season
