Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years leadership experience in related field
- Two years supervisory experience preferred
- Must meet minimum age for serving alcohol
- Current Food Handlers Card
- TIPS Certification
- Ability to implement dining standards
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of restaurant software a plus
- Knowledge of county regulations
- Ability to read business and technical documents
- Report writing skills
- Ability to calculate food and labor costs
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Two to three years' leadership experience in a related field with two years supervisory experience preferred
- Must meet state’s minimum age requirement for serving alcohol
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Knowledge of restaurant database software is a plus
- Knowledgeable about county regulations
- Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and regulations
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to calculate food costs, menu pricing, discounts, inventory, labor standards, and understand profit and loss statements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Planning, problem-solving, decision-making, delegation, time management, and employee development skills
- Basic computational and budgetary analysis abilities
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and independent decision-making
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals
- Ensure superior standards of food service and quality are met or exceeded
- Maintain effective communication regarding F&B operations, safety, and employee concerns
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and development of F&B team members
- Recognize and celebrate team members' success and maintain a positive work environment
- Provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable working environment for food service staff
- Support goals for sales, revenue, new projects, and business development
- Adhere to labor standards related to labor dollars and covers
- Assist during F&B functions such as corporate parties and weddings
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
