Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • able to stand for extended periods
  • able to move comfortably throughout a busy kitchen and store environment
  • willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • prior cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • previous supervisory or management experience in food service
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • certification or training related to food safety such as ServSafe preferred
  • ability to use Microsoft Office and related team collaboration tools
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Proven cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • supervisory or management experience in food service or a related field
  • strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office and team tools such as Outlook or Teams
  • flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • ServSafe Manager certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and support the Back-of-House team to meet department goals
  • maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • oversee kitchen production to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality
  • manage ordering, scheduling, and inventory to control costs and reduce waste
  • communicate effectively with Front-of-House and department leadership
  • monitor workflow and delegate tasks to maintain operational efficiency
  • model professionalism and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
