Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- able to stand for extended periods
- able to move comfortably throughout a busy kitchen and store environment
- willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- prior cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- previous supervisory or management experience in food service
- strong communication and organizational skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- certification or training related to food safety such as ServSafe preferred
- ability to use Microsoft Office and related team collaboration tools
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and teamwork
Job Qualifications
- Proven cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- supervisory or management experience in food service or a related field
- strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- familiarity with Microsoft Office and team tools such as Outlook or Teams
- flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- ServSafe Manager certification preferred
Job Duties
- Lead, train, and support the Back-of-House team to meet department goals
- maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- oversee kitchen production to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality
- manage ordering, scheduling, and inventory to control costs and reduce waste
- communicate effectively with Front-of-House and department leadership
- monitor workflow and delegate tasks to maintain operational efficiency
- model professionalism and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
