  • at least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience required
  • food service or retail experience encouraged
  • valid Food Handler’s Card required
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

Job Duties

  • assist in planning schedules and labor needs based on forecasted sales to ensure strong coverage and efficiency
  • oversee the deli counter and sales floor to keep products stocked, rotated, and attractively displayed
  • coach and train team members to deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and consistent customer service
  • maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards across all front-of-house areas
  • help manage timecards, shrink reporting, documentation, and team huddles
  • communicate daily with the Department Manager, Deli Kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • resolve customer concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • support merchandising, promotions, and sampling efforts to engage shoppers and boost sales
  • jump in wherever needed to maintain service flow and keep operations running strong
