Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a gaming or hospitality environment preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid identification and eligibility to work in the country
  • Completion of TIPS training or willingness to obtain it

Job Duties

  • Assist in maintaining daily safe balance and populate master safe sheet
  • Manage logbooks
  • Review jackpot paperwork for accuracy and make applicable corrections as needed
  • Ensure overall cleanliness of building, both indoors and outdoors
  • Process end of day paperwork
  • Drop-box collection and count
  • Allocate funds, including back up teller safe
  • Assist with new employee training and employee development
  • Direct, motivate, and coach employees
  • Enroll new players with players cards and explain card benefits
  • Promptly greet and visit with guests
  • Perform morning, night, and shift change cleaning
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Educate guests on horse-racing, off-track betting, and HHR machines
  • Accurate cash handling in redeeming guest vouchers
  • Process and report jackpots
  • Fix machines that are down or nonoperational
  • Verifying the identification and age of guests
  • Monitor and promote responsible drinking
  • Conduct daily promotions and drawings
  • Balance bar, teller, and HHR drawers
  • Set simulcast channels on TVs and music controls
  • Stay current with TIPS training
  • Stock and clean bar
  • Maintain clean gaming floor
  • Regularly wipe down machines and chairs
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand on your feet for 80% of the time
