Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three years of experience working in food service as a cook etc
  • six months of experience in a supervisory role in food service industry
  • six months or more barista experience
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to lead and train staff
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to coordinate events and manage inventory
  • physical ability to move and transport materials up to 10 lbs
  • cognitive skills including analyzing, coordinating, and communicating
  • willingness to work Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours or cross-campus duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three years of experience in food service as a cook or similar role
  • six months of supervisory experience in food service
  • six months or more barista experience
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily food production and kitchen operations
  • prepare and follow recipes accurately
  • estimate food and supply needs and produce prep sheets
  • maintain rotating menus based on customer and catering demands
  • train and lead 10-12 employees ensuring safety, sanitation, portion control, and scheduling compliance
  • coordinate catered events and communicate with clients regarding catering plans
  • order, inventory, and maintain proper storage and temperature controls
