Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in food service
  • Six months of supervisory experience
  • Barista experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly with diverse populations
  • Must occasionally move and transport items weighing up to 10 lbs
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
  • Capacity to perform cognitive tasks including analyzing and coordinating
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours or cross-campus work

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of experience working in food service
  • Six months of supervisory experience in the food service industry
  • Six months or more of barista experience
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills
  • Exceptional organizational and operational planning ability
  • Clear, customer-focused communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily food production and kitchen operations
  • Prepare and follow recipes accurately
  • Estimate food and supply needs
  • Produce prep sheets and maintain rotating menus
  • Train, supervise, and schedule 10-12 kitchen staff members
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and portion control standards
  • Coordinate catering events and communicate with clients
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and proper storage and temperature control of food supplies
