Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, management or related field is preferred
2 plus years of attractions, hospitality or theme park operations experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work flexible and varying schedules including nights, holidays and weekends
Strong guest and team interaction and development skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Consistent attendance is a job requirement
Ability to maximize efficiency and working procedures

Job Duties

Accountable for all facets of attraction operations including guest service, ride safety, capacity, training, staffing and budgeting
Partners with various departments such as technical services, engineering, facilities, entertainment to ensure departmental goals are met
Responsible for guest safety by reviewing trends and incidents, driving revisions and improvements to safety practices, procedures and documents
Ensures proper safety compliance and training for all hourly team members
Oversees daily operation of multiple rides, attractions, shows, and water and dry play areas
Approves weekly schedules and ensures labor optimization
Handles and reports incidents, team member or guest issues and operational deficiencies
Plans and executes events and requests made by other departments
Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and developing hourly attractions team members
Supports supervisors in development, coaching, performance management, and counseling of team leads and attendants
Provides department duty manager coverage including responding to ride evacuations, downtimes, escalated guest issues, weather condition decisions and leadership notifications
Oversees attractions projects, initiatives, cross-training programs, and sustainment efforts
Enforces department policies and procedures, works with management to develop new policies
Ensures development and maintenance of training programs and collaborates on seasonal hiring initiatives
Assists with labor budgets, labor optimization, scheduling and seasonal closure coverage
Participates actively in environmental, health and safety responsibilities and team involvement activities
Performs other duties as assigned
