Job Description

Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to ten hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and write for communication
- Possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food certification is a plus
- Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivate a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- Respond immediately and correct all verbal guest complaints
- Prioritize guest contact with required table visits
- Maintain departmental inventory levels
- Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- Effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
- Maintain effective safety and security programs
- Promote and lead restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs to General Manager/Area Director
- Promote recruitment and referrals of potential team and management candidates
- Promote Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Maintain a trained staff through orientation, individual training, employee meetings, and policy implementation
- Participate in employee development and performance evaluations
- Assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
- Monitor employee performance and document corrective situations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures
- Control costs in assigned department
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Drive bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories at the AD/GM's request
- Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- Ensure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
- Provide a role model for managers and employees
- Develop self on all store-related technology
- Be willing and able to work in all positions and assist team members as needed
- Use Management Development Program for continuous growth of leadership skills and proficiencies
