Job Description

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Physical ability to stand and move actively for up to 10 hours
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Strong reading and writing skills
- Dexterity for using small tools and equipment
- Certification in Serve Safe Food and Alcohol preferred
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle stress and maintain composure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Experience in staff scheduling and development
- Familiarity with inventory and cost control
- Ability to operate store technology and systems
Job Duties
- Ensure timely friendly service according to company guidelines
- Cultivate a culture based on Flynn Applebee's core values
- Address and correct verbal guest complaints promptly
- Prioritize guest contact and complete required table visits
- Maintain departmental inventory levels
- Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- Schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
- Maintain safety and security programs
- Promote restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
- Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- Support recruitment and referral efforts
- Lead training procedures for new managers
- Conduct employee training and meetings
- Use performance documentation and evaluations for development
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Control costs in assigned department
- Comply with local state and federal laws
- Conduct bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories
- Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- Maintain sanitation standards meeting health department requirements
- Serve as a role model for managers and employees
- Develop skills in store related technology
- Be willing to work all positions including cooking, seating, bartending
- Use Management Development Program for leadership growth
