Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 10 hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and write for communication
- Possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years of restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent problem-solving and stress management abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Experience in inventory management and cost control
- Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Commitment to company core values
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- Physical ability to perform required duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in training and developing employees
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- Ensures guest contact as a priority by completing required table visits
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Performs line checks to ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- Maintains safety and security programs
- Promotes and leads cleanliness and sanitation
- Performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members
- Uses Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Maintains trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and policy implementation
- Participates in employee development through evaluations and feedback
- Monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary actions
- Assures compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Controls cost within assigned department
- Drives bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories
- Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- Maintains sanitation standards meeting health department and company policies
- Provides a role model for managers and employees
- Develops self on store-related technology
- Works in all positions and assists team members as needed
- Utilizes Management Development Program for leadership growth
