Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a restaurant or retail assistant management role preferred
- ability to maintain fast and accurate service
- knowledge of occupational safety and health standards
- understanding of profit and loss statements and labor management
- capacity to recruit, interview, and hire employees
- skill in motivating and training staff
- commitment to maintaining high customer service and food quality standards

Job Duties
- maintaining fast, accurate service
- positive guest relations
- ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards
- ensuring occupational safety and health act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met
- assisting profit and loss management by following cash control, security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
- assisting restaurant manager in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members
- conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action, motivating and training
- ensuring company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained by using a preventative maintenance program
- ensuring food quality and 100 percent customer satisfaction
- ensuring complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing plans
- hiring and firing authority or participation in those decisions
- championing recognition and motivation efforts
