Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • effective communication skills
  • willingness to perform tasks in all restaurant positions as needed
  • basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

  • serve safe food and serve safe alcohol certifications a plus

Job Duties

  • Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines

  • ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
  • ensures guest contact with required table visits
  • maintains departmental inventory levels
  • ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
  • effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
  • maintains effective safety and security programs
  • promotes cleanliness and sanitation
  • performs routine maintenance reporting
  • promotes recruitment and referrals
  • leads training procedures for new managers
  • maintains trained staff through orientation and training
  • develops employees through one-on-one feedback and evaluations
  • assesses and monitors employee performance
  • assures compliance with company policies
  • controls costs in assigned department
  • ensures compliance with laws and regulations
  • drives food and liquor inventories
  • prepares and submits daily paperwork
  • assures sanitation standards meet or exceed requirements
