Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- effective communication skills
- willingness to perform tasks in all restaurant positions as needed
- basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve safe food and serve safe alcohol certifications a plus
- strong leadership skills
- excellent problem-solving ability

- knowledge of inventory and cost control

Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's core values
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- ensures guest contact with required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance reporting
- promotes recruitment and referrals
- leads training procedures for new managers
- maintains trained staff through orientation and training
- develops employees through one-on-one feedback and evaluations
- assesses and monitors employee performance
- assures compliance with company policies
- controls costs in assigned department
- ensures compliance with laws and regulations
- drives food and liquor inventories
- prepares and submits daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed requirements
- provides role model for staff
- develops self on store-related technology
- works in all restaurant positions as needed
- uses management development program for leadership growth
