Job Description

Job Requirements
- At least two to three years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Must be able to stand and move for up to ten hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Good reading and writing skills
- Finger and hand dexterity for using tools and equipment
- Willingness to take on multiple restaurant roles as needed
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
- Proficiency in managing restaurant operations and staff
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food quality standards
- Skilled in employee training and development
- Competent in inventory management and cost control
- Ability to adapt to various restaurant roles as needed
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
- Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established by Flynn Applebee's standards
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Ensures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standards by performing line checks
- Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- Maintains effective safety and security programs
- Promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- Performs routine maintenance and immediately reports needed repairs
- Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team member and management candidates
- Promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Helps maintain a trained staff through effective orientation, training sessions, meetings, and implementation of company policies
- Participates in constant employee development with one-on-one and performance documentation
- Assesses employee efficiency and provides feedback for development
- Monitors employee performance and documents situations requiring disciplinary action
- Assures compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Controls cost in assigned department
- Drives bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories
- Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- Assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
- Provides a role model for managers and employees
- Develops self on all store-related technology
- Works in all positions and assists as needed
- Uses the Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
