Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
  • For internal promote, minimum of 1 plus years experience as shift leader or 1 year as assistant manager in customer service environment
  • For external recruit, minimum of 3 years experience as assistant manager with P&L responsibility
  • Must be 100 percent certified in all workstations
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must complete assistant manager training classes
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
  • Must possess valid driver's license, insurance, and use personal vehicle to make bank deposits and travel
  • Ability to stand and walk 85 to 95 percent of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10 to 65 lbs
  • Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • Ensure systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • Manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional experience and consistently deliver excellent guest service and food quality
  • Monitor adherence to all systems, procedures, and food safety requirements
  • Maintain visibility and interaction with guests and respond to guest concerns promptly
  • Analyze restaurant operational and financial performance
  • Develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
  • Monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
